Monday was a day for Web.com Tour golfers to put aside disappointments and kindly donate to one of the big, booming personalities in professional golf – Olympia’s Andres Gonzales – at his second annual charity tournament at Tacoma Country & Golf Club in Lakewood.

The Olympia native is known best for his humorous tweets, but his success this season on the Nationwide Tour has him in strong contention for a 2013 PGA TOUR card.
Born on May 16, 1983 in Olympia, Washington, Andres Gonzales brings his big personality to the tee every time he plays golf. Golf has always played a big role in his life, and it's apparent in the joy and exuberance he brings to the table. Half man, half amazing, Gonzales has spent time on the Canadian Tour, Web.com Tour, and PGA TOUR. He won the Saskatchewan Open on the Canadian Tour, the 2012 Soboba Golf Classic on the Web.com Tour, and earned a career-best T16 finish at the 2011 Children's Miracle Network Hospitals Classic on the PGA TOUR.
